"We Do It In The Woods." That is the motto for Bridgewater State College's Outdoor Adventure Club. Most of the learning done in college is indoors in a classroom setting. However, this club allows our learning experiences to expand beyond these familiar surroundings. Activities are centered on outdoor recreation, interactive education, community service, teamwork, physical fitness, and intercollegiate events. For instance, on Monday, Oct. 8, a sunset hike a Blue Hills in Milton, MA took place. On Saturday, Oct. 21, the club will be camping at Wompatuck in Hingham, MA. New members are always welcome to the club, the recipient of the 2005-2006 BSC Rising Star Organization Award. The meetings are every Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Hunt Hall room 217. In order to contact the organization, call 508-531-2257 or visit the club's link from the college website.
