1. Old School (2003) - The best party movie of all time. It is the story of Mitch Martin (Luke Wilson), a middle aged man whose life is reversed when his relationship with his sex-fiend of a girlfriend turns out to be a fraud. Mitch moves to a house located near a college campus. Instantly one of Mitch's best friends, Beanie (Vince Vaughn), sees the new situation as an opportunity to re-establish Mitch's love life and manhood. Beanies brilliant idea is to found a fraternity. Mitch's house immediately becomes one of the most popular party spots for the entire college community. "Old School" is filled with some of the most memorable comedic quotes of the modern day. Will Ferrell's character, Frank, is a laugh a minute. Old School has a similar vibe to most of the movies on the list; it just has it all in one film. This is the ultimate spring break party movie.
2. Animal House (1978) - Well here it is. Everyone knew that Animal House would make it to the top of the list. Set in 1962, two college freshmen, Larry Kroger and Kent Dorfman, decide that they must join a fraternity. The two boys are accepted into the Delta house and partake in the stereotypical fraternity acts such as toga parties, and practical jokes. Due to their rowdy behavior, Dean Vernon Wormer becomes determined to have the Delta house removed from the school. The Delta house will not go quietly and a clash emerges between them and the other house on campus, the Omega house. One of the classic party movies of all time, Animal House is one of the perfect movies to watch over spring break.
3. American Pie 2 (2001) - Coming in at third on the list is the second installment of the American Pie movies. Arguably the best when it came to comedy and all around excellence. The movie takes place mainly in a beach house in which the main characters plan to throw the biggest party of all time. The entire situation might be the most commonly wished upon scenario by college and high school students alike. Throughout the movie the main character Jim (Jason Biggs) is trying to prepare for the "one that got away" that will visit him at the end of summer Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth). Joined by his friend Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), Oz (Chris Klein), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas), and the famous Steve Stifler (Seann William Scott) the adventures are crazier, funnier, and, in many ways, embarrassing enough to make you laugh until it hurts.
4. Superbad (2007) - Well let's start off by saying if you have not seen this movie then where have you been for the past six months? It is a must see and is easily one of the funniest movies to come out in many years. With that said, "Superbad" is the story of two best friends who are high school seniors. They are off to different colleges in the fall, and are looking to cap their school year with the "ultimate high school experience." Their single night adventure includes a scare at a liquor store, a crazed party, sympathetic cops, and ultimately the experience they wanted. There are not many parts in "Superbad" in which you will not be laughing. It can also be seen as the modern day "Porky's."
5. Porky's (1982) - This is the 1982 version of what seems to be "Superbad." A journey of young adults searching to find people who they could lose their virginity to. The film's main focus is the boys getting revenge on the strip bar owner and his brother, who is conveniently the sheriff of the town. The original character Pee Wee (Dan Monahan) make it so great. Great for anyone who wants a bunch of cheap laughs at people doing something of this sort, or if they are this sort of person. Overall it has taken its name to fame as possibly one of the oldest, and best, party movies of all time.
6. National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002) - Van Wilder (Ryan Reynolds) has spent his seven years in college living his dream, to party. When his father finally cuts the funds going to Van Wilder's activities, Van and friends come up with the idea to begin to profit from partying. When the college hears of Wilder's situation they decide to investigate by sending in one of the school's journalists to get the scoop on the matter. Wilder then takes a series of steps to clear his name. Van must then pass his classes so that he can be on his way to graduating. "Van Wilder" is a farfetched movie about college life that you can not help but laugh at. Reynolds' witty sense of humor makes for a very funny film. This is definitely one movie you should watch over spring break.
7. Euro Trip (2004) - The sensational movie about four friends who cross the pond to Europe, all with different things on their mind. Scotty (Scott Mechlowicz) was recently used and dumped by his promiscuous girlfriend and is traveling to Germany to meet the love of his life Fiona (Kristen Kreuk). Cooper (Jacob Pitts) is going to search for kinky European sex that he has only heard about in stories. Their friend Jenny (Michelle Trachtenberg) wants to be swept off of her feet by a rich European man and sail with him through the sea's for months on end. The group is rounded out by Jenny's twin brother Jamie (Travis Wester), who is a genius when it comes to foreign affairs and European culture and wants to see the historical sites. Their disagreements and misguided German speaking skills lead them on multiple adventures in which they encounter priceless scenarios.
8. Bachelor Party (1984) -When your friend is going to get married this is the movie that should give you all the ideas for the ideal bachelor party to throw them. With the best hotel and drinks, the characters get plenty out of hand and have lots of crazy adventures. With the amazing talent of Tom Hanks blended and the wacky idea behind it, the movie was an instant classic that will always be enjoyed by college students and soon-to-be-husbands around the world.
9. Sorority Boys (2002) - "Sorority Boys" is the story of three fraternity members who get kicked out of their house due to accusations of stealing the fraternity's money. The boys then realize that the only way they can stay on campus rent free is to dress in drag and join the sorority, Delta Omicron Gamma, a sorority whose members are known to be less than appealing to the eye. The boys learn that the women in this sorority are normal people and begin to feel terrible for what they had done in the past to these women. "Sorority Boys" is a good movie to watch during spring break and will definitely make you to laugh.
